The collection and processing of Personal Data on the website is intended to (i) send, upon request by the user, service proposals, insurance proposals and/or quotations (as well as information regarding Optifinance products and/or services) (collectively, the “Purposes”), whereby the completion of the form corresponding to each of the Purposes corresponds to the express prior consent to the processing of the Personal Data provided.

If the user expressly consents in advance to the processing of his or her Personal Data (which consent may be withdrawn at any time – see paragraph 5 below), Optifinance undertakes to process the Personal Data to the extent and for as long as necessary to fulfill the Purposes.

In this sense, Optifinance does not request or encourage the sending of personal data relating to philosophical or political beliefs, party or trade union membership, religious faith, private life and racial or ethnic origin, or the processing of data relating to health and sex life, including genetic data, and therefore, if you provide them to Optifinance, Optifinance cannot be held responsible for their processing under the Privacy Policy.

Without prejudice to other forms of contact with Optifinance, failure by the user to provide Personal Data will prevent Optifinance from considering it for the purposes of sending proposals and/or quotes or other information, depending on the applicable situation.

The period of time during which Personal Data is stored and retained varies according to the Purposes.

The Personal Data processed for the purpose of sending service and insurance proposals and/or quotes or information regarding Optifinance products and/or services will be kept for a period of 1 (one) year after the last contact with the holder of the Personal Data, without prejudice to the possibility of longer periods when the situation justifies it (and proportional to such situation), namely to safeguard Optifinance’s rights.

The user is guaranteed, at any time, the right to access their Personal Data, as well as its rectification, erasure, portability, limitation and/or opposition to processing – in this sense, you can exercise any of these rights by writing to Optifinance, using the address of the head office or through the following email info@Optifinance.pt.

Without prejudice to the above, the user will always have the right to lodge any complaints they wish with the competent authority.

Personal Data will be processed and stored in computerized form and on paper.

Optifinance is committed to guaranteeing the security and protection of the Personal Data you send us via the website, and has adopted the appropriate technical and organizational measures to this end, namely: (i) password protection, (ii) use of digital certifications, (iii) restrictions on physical entry to the locations where the servers storing the Personal Data are located.
